The ritual of candle lighting dates back to Ancient Egypt, with applications ranging from the religious, mystical, and ceremonial, to the practical, decorative, and romantic.   Holding esoteric symbolism, lit candles possess unique, incomparable, individual force fields that can work to conduct and redirect wayward energy.   Candle magic is based on the same principle as colour therapy, where different colours emit different frequencies.  These frequencies have different effects on the inner spirit and can be used in a positive manner to enhance mind power, the auric field, divine communication, and spirituality.

When choosing to add candles to complementary or combination therapy, it can be as simple as applying concentration, will power, and visualisation, or more advanced, using dressing oils, carvings, and written intentions.  Whichever method you choose, always ensure that a new candle is used as previously burned candles will have already been tainted by environmental and intent specific vibrations, which may lead to negative or ineffectual outcomes.
